So as you may or may not be aware but I was looking for a job. Not any job but a real job & ALLELUIA! It has happened. It is back in the tech world & I start in a couple of weeks. You have no idea what a relief this is! I will have medical, vision, dental, 401K, stock, tuition reimbursement, vacation time - the whole nine yards!! Ah, the beauty of having security again!!
How many “!” have I just used? LOL
That Nicholas Sparks can write a book where no character dies in it!! Even though all his books that I have read are tearjerkers & there is always a death in them I still buy them. I must say that I did enjoy this one - The Wedding. And it had a happy ending!!
I am finally home. Made it back Monday night & walked through the front door around 8:00pm. I gotta tell you the traffic in the VA/DC area is killer. I was literally almost killed by an 18-wheeler. My heart was pumping for a hella long time after that. Worse was that my sister & nephew were with me & that made it even more stressful. If I get in a wreck at least it is only me & my fault. But if I caused anything to ever happen to them I would not know what to do!!
So onto happier thoughts! I came home to see the Vera Bradley bags I got from eBay & my Threadless order came. I LOVE their shirts - ok not so much the sizing since I think they could run a smidge large for the girls [literally] - but they are so AWESOME!
Wouldn’t you know it!  Only I would land up getting a blooming cold on vacation. At first I thought it was just my allergies but the stuffy nose & sore throat never went away plus I can’t seem to drink enough. I am still here for another week so hopefully I won’t have it for too long. Famous last words!
